Fit for Work Medicals

At Role Group, we have engaged with an experienced and qualified nurse to conduct our in-house Fit for Work medicals. By implementing Fit for Work medicals as part of your personnel engagement plan, you are ensuring that all of your employees, including temporary workers, are fit to work on your site adequately and minimising risk concerning the health and safety of themselves and others.

The results of Fit for Work medicals are classified as either of the following: Fully Fit, Fit with Restrictions, or Unfit directly after the medical is complete. The findings of any Fit for Work medical can be reviewed upon certification from the individuals GP regarding the status of their health and well-being.

The assessment is firstly conducted with a baseline health questionnaire that will establish any existing or historical physical or psychological health ailments.

Drugs & Alcohol Screening

By engaging with Role Training to implement your occupational health needs, you are protecting your business, employees, and project productivity from the misuses of drugs and alcohol. The abuse of drugs and alcohol in the workplace accounts for 60% of fatalities from work-related accidents. Role Training are RISQS accredited to conduct drugs and alcohol screening throughout a variety of industries and sectors. We engage with a qualified nurse who supports our team in undertaking testing in house and on site. Our team have also been trained in the Chain of Custody procedures when handling urine specimens and breath samples.

Face Fit Testing

At Role Group, our team are fully trained in the requirements that need to be followed in order to ensure that the respiratory protective equipment (RPE) is adequately fitted to protect the individual wearer. An ill-fitting RPE can cause major leaks and will not protect the wearer. Face Fit Testing ensures that the wearer is provided with the correct equipment at the initial selection stage. We have to be aware that all people come in different shapes and sizes and this must be abided by when conducting a fitting. We can assure you that our team are fully trained, qualified and experienced to provide accurate Face Fit assessments for your workforce on site or in-house.
