About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic NSAR Trainer to join our growing team at Role. As part of this role, you will deliver high-quality rail safety training across the UK, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting the development of rail professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in accordance with NSAR and industry standards.

  • Provide training in PTS AC, DCCR, and Track Induction as a minimum, with the potential to deliver additional courses.

  • Assess delegates’ competence, knowledge, and skills throughout training.

  • Ensure all course materials and delivery align with the latest regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of training, assessments, and delegate feedback.

  • Travel to various training centres and client sites nationwide.

  • Support continuous improvement by updating training content and methods where required.

Requirements

  • NSAR-approved trainer with current accreditation.

  • Experience delivering PTS AC, DCCR, and Track Induction (mandatory).

  • Strong knowledge of rail safety standards and industry best practice.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to adapt training to suit different learning styles.

  • Willingness to travel nationwide as required.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications

  • Ability to deliver additional NSAR courses.

  • Assessor or verifier qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, V1).

  • Previous industry experience in rail or construction safety.
