PTS Re-Cert – AC & DCCR (Kent)

Course Summary: 

This rail refreshment course gives an update on the knowledge and understanding required to work safely on or near the railway. The PTS and DCCR Re-Certification course is a one day course for those who already hold a Personal Track Safety (PTS) card.

Pre-requisites & Requirements: 

Must bring Sentinel smart card endorsed with PTS (not in learning support) and DCCR. Please be advised that the competency can only be recertified if it is valid or within the 8-week grace period. Minimum of 8 Logbook Entries on Sentinel System – (Must have trackside location) endorsed by the COSS within the last 2 years since previous PTS training. Not having evidence meeting these requirements will result in candidates not being eligible to continue with the course.

Please note: Paper logbook evidence will be accepted by training providers only for entries prior to 6th December 2025 and until 6th December 2027. Any competence used from 6th December 2025 onwards must be recorded in Sentinel. Any paper based logbook entries after 5th December 2025 will not be accepted as evidence by the training provider.
