Project Manager – Roofing & Cladding

We are looking for a project manager to manage a 16 week project in Austria in the early spring. The project manager will need to have the right to work in Austria.

The project manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of roofing and cladding projects from pre-construction through to final handover.

We are looking for a project manager who is results-driven with problem-solving skills, who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A strong communicator with a professional approach to clients and site teams

The project manager role includes managing the programme, cost, quality, health & safety, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

We are looking for a project manager who is confident, and experienced with

• Managing roofing and cladding projects from award through to completion and final account
• Developing and managing project programmes in line with contract requirements
• Coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, and access requirements
• Ensuring works are delivered to required quality standards and specifications
• Monitoring project budgets, variations, and cost control in conjunction with the commercial team
• Identifying and managing risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensuring full compliance with company H&S policies, site safety plans, and statutory requirements
• Promoting a strong safety culture on site and address non-compliance immediately
• Ensuring QA documentation, inspections, and handover packs are completed correctly
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, main contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Attending progress meetings and provide clear reporting on programme and risks
• Maintaining strong working relationships to support repeat business

Team & Site Management

• Leading site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Ensuring site teams are adequately resourced and supported

We are looking for a project manager who has:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within roofing, cladding, or envelope packages
• Strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems
• Experience working on commercial / industrial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes, contracts, and cost control
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Full driving licence

Desirable

• Experience working as a subcontractor (rather than main contractor)
• Familiarity with building regulations and industry standards
• SMSTS / Safe Pass / Manual Handling / First Aid certification
