Quantity Surveyor – Rail

There is space for a quantity surveyor to join a rail/ civils company on either a perm basis, or long term self employed basis, based in Nuneaton delivering rail projects across the UK.

We are looking for an experienced QS who has confident rail and NEC contract experience along with the standard:

• Administration management of live projects
• Measuring works accurately
• Management and control of sub contract accounts
• Assisting with materials procurement
• Confidently managing the financial aspects of project
• Supporting the procurement team through tenders
• Preparing and agreeing interim applications for payment
• Producing monthly cost reports, forecasts, and contract budget reports

What else is required?

• Relevant degree and RICS/ MRICS
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving approach
• NEC contract knowledge and experience
• Demonstrable cost management experience
• Proven experience, preferably in a similar role
